Planning, planning and more planning

I don't know about you, but I've fully fallen down the rabbit hole of planning. I have tried just about every planner I could get my hands on, but I think I've finally found a system that has brought me true planner peace!
I've actually bought my third hobonichi cousin, which is a Japanese A5 planner. I use this primarily for work. I love the ability to use the pages for journaling, to do lists, notes about projects, etc. Then there are the monthly pages which allow for just enough room to write in, without feeling as though there is too much wasted space. And then even weekly pages that allow for timelines or to do lists as well. The semi blank pages, but overall structure is ideal for work situations. I can just flip to the right page and jot down a note or a meeting quickly on the dedicated space. It allows for quite a bit of customization! I think my favorite part of it is the paper. The tomoe river paper is so very thin, but very fountain pen friendly. The thinness does show quite a bit of ghosting, which has never bothered me in the slightest.
I found that although I do love my hobonichi, I still craved something in addition. So I got sucked into the world of bullet journaling. I bought an official Bullet Journal Leuchtturm 1917 in the color of emerald. This gave me more freedom to track projects, brainstorm, make up new calendars and offer some chance to attempt hand lettering or stickers! I found that once I got over the initial trepidation of having a fully blank page and just starting using it, I was hooked. I have so many project tracking pages and pages full of notes that would never have fit on a single daily page in my hobonichi!
I've used these two planners together for the last 7 months and I have finally found my happy place. I have the freedom of the entirely blank pages in my bullet journal and I love the structure of the hobonichi. I need a combination of the two in order to stay as productive as I like to be!
What's your favorite method? Are you a fan of one of the countless paper planners? Or do you prefer digital methods?
